Researchers at Google have developed an AI software that takes merely a few hours to design microchips, significantly reducing the weeks to months that it would take a human to design.

The FDA recently approved Biogen’s aducanumab, the first approved drug that targets the possible cause rather than symptoms of Alzheimer’s. However, some in the research community say the evidence for the drug’s efficacy is thin, and current drug candidates should continue to be developed.

Fast sequences of radio bursts have been detected in Canada, some of which occur in repeating bursts and some of which are one-offs. Scientists point to two different astrophysical phenomena to explain the radio bursts.
